What kind of business should Kirsten and Julie go into?
Matty Rich: One has Caleb in her genes, the other has had Caleb in her jeans. Together, they should start The Caleb Nichol Pun Factory.
Rutherford B. Chillin': They say there's no business like show business, so Kirsten and Julie should delve into some sort of masonry venture.
Darkly Noon: Probably something like real estate. I just think they'd be good at it.

Compare and contrast Marissa's laptop meltdown with last season's pool furniture episode.
Darkly Noon: The theatrics and public spectacle of the pool furniture incident were far superior, but the laptop rage might have inflicted more damage from a monetary standpoint. So I would call it pretty even.
Matty Rich: There seemed to be some logical reason for this computer carnage, a barrage of memories that elicited an uncontrollable rage. Maybe we've all been in a similar situation - although Marissa could be in trouble when she has to apply for a new laptop and explain the circumstances surrounding the destruction of her old one. Nevertheless, nothing can compare to the pool furniture fiasco. One minute she's listening to Color Me Badd on her iPod, the next minute she's responding to her mother's caring inquiry with the primal scream of someone who hasn't been fed in weeks. I wonder whatever happened to that poor chair.
Rutherford B. Chillin': I assume the laptop has better virus protection than the pool furniture did, but then again, it's really a cold, and not a virus, that you'd be more likely to catch by being thrown in a pool. So I guess both were at risk of catching colds, but only the furniture could download porn.

Where will Taylor go to college?
Rutherford B. Chillin': She was all set to attend the University of My Pants, but I "applied early" if you know what I mean. So she's going to go to Stanford, the University of My Pants of the West.
Darkly Noon: Taylor Townsend will totally try Texas Tech.
Matty Rich: She's Taylor-made for Towson University.

Which of the two main relationships will end first and why?
Darkly Noon: Seth can't live without Summer. Ryan and Marissa can't live without violence. You do the math.
Matty Rich: Marissa will break up with Ryan after each time he kisses her, but then continually take it back when she realizes he was simply trying to be affectionate. They'll never come to an end - or be the least bit entertaining. As for Seth and Summer, Providence will spell doom for their relationship, just with many different letters used.
Rutherford B. Chillin': I suppose neither relationship will end by the end of this season, and the two pairs will set off to opposite sides of the country, creating television's first full-time split-screen sh-ow. Unfortunately for Summer, Seth will die before he gets to Brown - as the fall semester approaches, knowing no other way to leave Newport, Seth packs up his boat to sail off to Brown. Sadly, he packs too many fleece-lined jeans and crates of Ramen noodle-inspired Japanese anime and his boat sinks off the coast of North Carolina. In an almost miraculous moment, when Summer goes to the Rhode Island shore to scan the horizon for her lost love, she stumbles across a wine bottle, a 2x4 and Captain Oats, all of which have conveniently washed up on shore. The incident leaves Summer alone in Rhode Island, a lonely Friar.
