Okay, the first thing I thought when I read this message is I wonder what Tate would think of being called the hottest old guy ever.
The second thing I though is that I hope you're a teenager because that is the only way you should consider 40 old!
I'm nowhere near 40, but I am old enough to recognize that 80, not 40, is old, especially in today's society. Courtney Cox is almost 40, and she's just now having her first baby! Lisa Kudrow is also 40. And I doubt you'd call them old ladies. So why do it to Tate? It just sounds so disrespectful. Remember, he could read this, and do you really want him to hear you call him an old guy?
BTW, Peter is much older than Tate, but I see very few references to him as an old guy. And he was born in 1955! He's only 2 years younger than my dad. lol And I still don't think he's old either. =)

how old is Peter Gallagher? about the other girl tha posted I am sure she was not trying to ofend. I am 20 and for 8 year old kids I am old. the old/ new thing is relative and a few people think much about it. of course they are not old. I have a friend that I play golf with that is 45 and sometimes I see myself saying about someone that is old, or older and I realize that they are his age. so old is more than you are and new lis ess than you are now. we are all new and old

I am 17 and find both Tate and Peter to be extremly handsome. Mybe i just have a thing for older guys, but in no way at all is tate or peter old in my eyes. It all depends on who you are talking about also. My mom for instance is 36, do i find her to be old...sometimes. Old is a state of mind, look at how robert redford looked when he was around 40-45, he was friggin delicious. And Sean Connery even now is till handsome. But most of all on "older" stars Harrison Ford is soooooo hot.  I worship the ground the man walks on, and he is in his mighty older, but old, Hell no. He is just in the prime of his life. So you know what? Tate is hot and so is Peter....mmm surfer dad. yummy. Ok, Im done.

on the topic of peter or tate.... its tate all the way!
i mean i waouldn't go so far as to say that jennifer aniston made the worng choice choosing brad... but tate is mighty fine!!!!!!!!!!
and sorry but as for the hottest older guy, have you seen robert redford ... yumm!
