As good as this is for Adam, I really don't like the sound of this because I can see him eventually ditching the OC to focus on movies or something. The OC is nothing without Adam Brody he is the heart and his wiseass humour and goofyness is what keeps the show going and the ratings up. Ok he isn't the only reason that the OC is a hit, but he is a huge part of the show and I don't think that they would keep it on air if he left! Adam stay with us!

U THINK ADAM IS GONNA LEAVE THE OC? U GOT TO BE CRAZY, THEY GOT HIM SO TIED DOWN, FOX IS NOT GONNA LET A MAIN CHARACTER LIKE THAT GO.

Well if he wants to there isn't much they can do about it, when does his contract run out? He's the only one who can decide whether to renew it or not, no one can force him. I think his contract is only for one more season, but I will have to double check on that. But the money in movies is a hell of a lot more than in TV, so I know what I would do if I was Adam!

If you were Adam you would leave the show, and alienate your fans, thus fucking over your movie career, and any chance of remaining a teen idol. Good thing you're not Adam.

Look if theres cash to be made in it then Im obviousy gonna take it! I just can't see him doing anymore than 3 seasons of the OC, as much as I would like him too!
The OC should go on forever and ever!

Stars are always going to do what they think is in their own best interest- not the fans. If he actually has a shot at doing movies he'll do it. Being on a teeny-bopper drama on fox isn't goign to be the pinecle of his career. (if it is that's sad!!)

ok, adam's contract with FOX is for 5 more seasons, so unless he wants a major lawsuit, he will not be leaving anytime soon, plus he's said he loves working on the oc and he would not just leave, especially when it has only been on 4 one season, i mean he can't be sick of it already.
