It's a fun little game to play. Fact or fiction: you were disappointed by the season finale?

Yeah, it was awful. The timing seemed off, the emotions overly melodramatic, and humor fleeting (lots in the beginning, then nothing), and general trashing of characters. I respect Ryan's decision to do the right thing, but I'm shocked that Kirsten Nichol aborted Jimmy Cooper's love child. However, seeing Seth be this self centered was a little gross.
I couldn't deal with the characters and their emotional garbage...

I was impressed that Summer was the most reasonable person in all of Newport for a day.

yeah..i was not pleased. It seemed to forced. Where is ryan going to live, where is seth going(he would barely make it by himself on that boat to catalina, not less tahiti). They will both be back in newport for season 2 so it will be interesting to see. Also the charaters have just change so much (Ryan goes from hard ass to broody and seemingly emotionless, marissa goes from bad girl to cry baby with no life what so ever outside of ryan, and luke...well you know. Maybe he left because they turned his character into a tool.)and the story lines feel like they come out of nowwhere then are dropped. Ie: soccer, the nana, the crab shack, the "uncle", at least they brought seths boat back. It just turned from crazy high school parties with kids doing coke and smoking bongs, to sappy drama. Dont get me wrong, I still love the show...i just hope it improves in season 2
