I think it wouldn't have lasted. Like you can see kids doing stupid things anywhere, like in your own school. But the parents liven things up a bit. I still would watch it though. Maybe.

you need oher story lines too (like sandy, kirsten and rebecca) so that the main story lines arent too intense

i think that the drama that the parents create is just as funny and almost as entertaning as the drama the kids make so i think that without the parents the show wouldn't be as good. like iorek said "it would be good just not as good" (or something like that)

I don't think The OC would be as good, if they didn't have the parents!!! Sandy and Kirsten: adorable couple. They are a classic married couple. Love them!!!! Plus, Sandy is soooo funny!!! 
Julie: common, we need a bitch....and she sometimes provides hilarious comic relief!! Can I mention "The Porn Identity"???
Trust me, we need the parents too!

We need the parents! There very important.
We got the parents and the teen-agers. So theres two seperate viewers. The teens watching for the teen-ager storylines and the adults watching the parents story-lines. Some watching both.
Parents makes the show diverse and different from episodes that only concentrate on one generation.
