Hey guys, I was watching some OC the other night, and it was kind of a sad one. I started to think about how many times the OC has caused me to get a lump in my throat so that I'm almost crying. There hasn't been a lot of times it has happened, but here are some:

1. In season 3, after Seth tells Summer that she should go to Brown and not him. When Summer was crying on her bed, that really got me.
2. In season 3, after Seth says he doesn't love Summer anymore when she is standing on the coffee cart.
3. In season 1 finale, when Marissa says she knows why Ryan has to do this, but she wishes he didn't have to.
4. In season 2 finale, when Seth looks at his mom and says that she has to do this.
5. When Marissa died, and Ryan had a little tear in his eye.

Those are my top five, how about you guys?

1. In season 3 - THE GRADUATES - The processional but especially the music, makes me break every time - think it signifies an end Crying or Very sad

to a fantastic core four friendship!
2. In season 3 - again THE GRADUATES - Marissa, Ryan, Seth & Summer round the pool at the model home saying their goodbyes and then the death scene, very moving.
3. In season 1 - THE PILOT - Ryan abandoned by his mum, returning to an empty house, then Sandy takes him home.
4. In season 1 - THE FINALE - When Marissa says she knows why Ryan has to do this, but she wishes he didn't have to.
5. In season 3 - THE ROAD WARRIOR - When Ryan and Marissa finally decide to call it a day on there relationship by telephone.

Thanks for your top 5 Stewey, I'm more of a Ryan/Marissa fan than a Seth/Summer fan, although found them extremely funny and a very comical duo. Huge Ben McKenzie fan, his rapor with Adam fantastic in the show. Not such a huge fan of Season 4, obviously, but was that obsessed with The OC after Season 1 - had to be buy on DVDs to catch all seasons, missed them here in the UK on E4. Any suggestions on what to watch now, like that sort of US teen romantic drama?

Hey thebiggestocfanever, you had some very good moments yourself. It is hard to find another teen drama to watch; however, One Tree Hill is still going on. It is a pretty good show in my opinion, of course to really get into it, you'd have to watch the old one's to know what's going on. Still if you get into it, you will find a lot of similarites to The OC. There is the drunken Mother, Prom, Car wrecks, etc. So if you are looking for another teen drama to watch, I would suggest One Tree Hill, I hope that helps.
