SCHWARTZ COMPARES BARTON TO CHARACTER IN HIS NEW SHOW “CHUCK”
Josh Schwartz was recently asked at a TV Critics press tour for his new show “Chuck” to compare the main character, Chuck to Marissa Cooper from The OC; here’s what Schwartz said:
12:10 pm: A reporter asks Schwartz to compare Chuck star Zachary Levy with his doomed O.C. starlet Mischa Barton. “They’re both tall… and shapely.” But unlike Barton, Levy probably won’t be killed off after three seasons.
Hmmm, so im guessing he knew that it was a mistake to kill off Marissa, and he’s not willing to kill off a main character on his new shows. Well, atleast he’s learnt a lesson!

so I'm guessing you're a marissa fan huh? well heres my two cents the best season of the OC was the first, the only problem was that terrible anorexic actress who couldn't act and kept talking through her nose. The second best season was 4 because she had been killed off. Josh shwartz is not saying it was a mistake to kill of the worst thing about his previous show, he is simply can't find any personality qualities that are the same so he must compare physicality. Haven't been to the site in a while, it was nice to visit.

From what you've posted here, the only thing Josh said was they're both tall and shapely. He didn't make the comment about Mischa's character being killed off. I'm sure if this Levy person is hated like Marissa was, they'll be killed off too.

If she looks like Mischa then she should be killed off in the 1st season..if not the 1st episoe.

Actually Joss has said in interviews he regrets killing Marissa. And season 4 clearly wasn't the best and if you don't believe me look at the ratings
