Post subject: Too much in the preview

Was anyone else annoyed at the level of plot detail in the "future scenes" preview? Showing Oliver with a gun seams like a pretty good indication of what is going on. I feel like they are pulling all sorts of plot devices that are over the top, but showing it to us early.

I think Oliver's torment of Ryan should have been stretched out longer. And no, showing reruns for a couple weeks before the resolution of the situation isn't how to do it. It's a great plot line, keeps me wanting more at the end of each episode, and yet they're not stretching it. Although, even after the Seth Cohen-Anna-Summer love triangle seemed to be resolved, it's still a big part of the show with a lot of tension involved. So maybe they aren't really done with Oliver just yet....

I couldn't agree more. The preview gave away what seemed like 2-3 episodes worth of drama. All of this stuff could use a bit more time to develop. I mean, look how long it took for Luke to become a part of the group. Two weeks? I've seen ice cream melt slower than that.

that's some very slow melting ice cream, but I agree. I wanna see Oliver fool everyone except for Ryan for awhile longer .. not just pull out a gun. Unless Marissa is into that sort of thing.

i agree with both of you.they did go over the top with the preview of the up coming oc.but that makes people wanna watch it more and more.and who know the previews aren't always the whole thing.
