Post subject: summer: buzzing at a high frequency

Hey everyone 
Im not sure if anyone can help me but in the 1st or 2nd season Summer is obsessed with the whole 'buzzing at a high frequency' thing and she mentions the name and author of a book that is where she gets it from and I was wondering if anyone knew what that was or if they could help my find it out
