Well, mostly the first episode is more of just raw emotion and the immediate aftermath of Marissa's death. It was inspired by the Season 2 cliffhanger and how Season 3 didn't really pick up on it until 3 months later after the tragedy. My writing partner and I thought that was lame, and knowing it'll probably be the same case in Season 4, we decided we'd do Episode One as just "The Days After". You'll have more of a feel for the direction of the season, in about Episodes 2, and 3, but the first episode, while dealing with that aftermath and emotion, sets things in gear which will lead to one hell of a summer set of episodes.
