Not at all. When Alex brought up all the "real life" stuff like taking out the trash and paying rent, the look on her face was priceless. I think she thought that it was just going to continue to be fun and games, not something she's has to work at. Marissa (obviously) has never had to work at anything in her life and, although I think she really does care for Alex, she just wasn't expecting it to get THAT real.

Yeh Marissa is a spoilt little brat who is used to getting everything she wants and giving little in return. She's already been shocked about how much work she would have to do in the real world, she's like most chicks in Newport;

she does have to take out the trash i mean eww, thats disgusting who has to do that?? i would soo put up a fight if i was forced to
but then again she would jeperdise her relanshoship....

I take out the trash, it's fucking simple, pick up a plastic bag and toss it in a bin and then wheel it out front. Geez your acting like I'm asking you to eat my vomit or something...

I try not to take out the trash. That's my husbands job. But, that's just because I'm ridiculously OCD about my hands being clean so I gag at the thought of having to touch trash, but I still do it when I need to.
