Noo...It's not like that...Mar & Alex DO hook up after Mar and Ryan,but rumor has it they're just in a phase. In the episode,Alex spends the night,They make out right behind her mom's back, Mar tells her mum that alex is her g/f,Mar moves in with alex,gets caught by Seth who comes to ask alex for his job back(don't worry...they don't actually DO anything),and @ the end,Mar walks alex to work in the rain,while Alex is rambling about chores.Total of I heavy kiss and two on-the-lips...

How old are you guys? I mean it is refreshing that Alex and Marissa got together.. what a great twist to spice things up.. much more interesting then Marissa with the ever boring Ryan ( I mean really listen to the guy talk, give him 5 mins of dialogue and those eyes and that voice will put anyone to sleep).. I and quite a few of my 30 something mates watch the OC again because of the likes of Alex joining the show.. if it was just Ryan and Marissa and Seth and Summer..the OC would be off our list of shows to watch.. and ahh just when we were enjoying the spicing up of Jimmy and Julie's relationship, they take him away.. ahh and now Alex.. who else? You see! They are taking the spices away and leaving mediocre boredom for use to live with.. maybe if nothing changes, this group of people might just relegate the OC to a show to be watched when nothing else is on...

What is this B.S. of lesbian relationships falling apart after facing a little bit of 'newonce'.... I think not, more the appropriate reality of "what's the second date of two lesbians, rent a u-haul" The move in and hot, hot, say again HOT living is so under-played. I mean, sure its prime time, but it should be a little realistic. There is no way a relationship that was that hot would die so soon. Bad story line there, and returning to the 'old bow'---- after a woman, I mean come'on. Marissa is a changed girl now, their hesitancy to display that is a disappointment. BIGTIME!!!
Anyhow, its not really all that interesting if they insist on going back to the 'safe' and politically correct, "boy/girl" theme. What's comfortable to some, is not so comfortable to others.
Just plain, disappointment!
