Finally an episode where something happened. A Funeral and a departure.
Where's Taylor?...When's Theresa coming back?
This episode had one too many instinces where Marissa mentioned that she was not hungry. We already know that.
And I truly hope Dr. Roberts and Julie do not get married. That would just damper her characters in my opinion.

1. Seth's comment about how Ryan doesn't have to worry about Johnny anymore like one hour after his death was totally disgusting and unnecessary. I know Cohens make comments inapporpriately soon after traumatic events but that was just not funny and I can't belive the writers would put that in. I can't believe he was so insensitive.
2. Anyone else get a 60's hippy vibe at the funeral? You know with all the flowers and the bare feet and Marissa's long wide-sleeved shirt?
3. I think everyone's reaction to Johnny's death was totally understated. I mean, yeah they were upset, but not someone-died upset. There was hardly any crying and I've seen Marissa shed more tears than she did last night over less important matters. I mean wtf he's dead, it's hardly something to be taken lightly. Sandy and Kirsten should have reacted more as parents to the fact that a boy the same age as their sons was killed.
4. That Justin guy is so not cool enough for Kaitlin. He's kind of faggy.
5. Anyone else notice that there were alot of references to past episodes? (The Escape, The Rescue, The Heartbreak, The Lonely Hearts Club, The Dearly Beloved) Are the writers doing this on purpose? Because all it is doing is making me miss past episodes even more.
6. It seems the writers are taking real liberties to emphasize that smoking weed isn't a big deal considering in every recent episode there's always at least one reference on how "it's just pot" and it's not a big deal.
7. Anyone else get a vibe when Matt came to see Marissa? I wonder if there is any possibility of something happening between them...
8. Johnny's mom was done tastefully the way they showed just how devastated she was without giving he any dialouge. At least that reaction was appropriate.
9. The Valley seems to still be on the air, but I can't help but wonder if Kaitlin's dig at the Valley (never listening to Death Cab again because it was on that show) equals a dig at the O.C.? I always thought that their fictional Valley represented their own show so I don't know why they'd make fun of it.
11. They need to get out of that fucking trailer.
12. How come like minutes after her son dies Johnny's mom's first thought is to call Marissa? I'm sure the girl that basically killed her son would have been the first thing on her mind.
13. Where is Taylor?? I miss her.
14. Neil's "Will you be my Valentine?" was extremely cheesy.

LMAO -wth was with Johnny and that necklace. He really must have thought Marissa would have picked him. Kind of a shame he didn't get it to Marissa before he died. It would have been great seeing Ryan kick his ass.
Wondering what happened between Sadie and Volchuk too.
