Kirsten accompanies Ryan on his meeting with the principal of Harbor High School. Hesitant to allow someone of Ryan'�s background into the school, the lady in charge agrees to allow Ryan to take an aptitude test. Meanwhile, Marissa is suffering in the hospital as her mother attempts to enter her in a rehab facility against her father�'s wishes. The fact that Marissa once suffered from an eating disorder surfaces. Summer and Seth run to enlist Ryan�'s help and Ryan leaves the admissions test in order to help break Marissa out of the hospital. At the end of the episode, Kirsten and Ryan convince the principal, Dr. Kim, to admit Ryan into the school anyway.
