The show opens with Caleb and Sandy talking on the pier. Sandy encourages Caleb to come clean about his affair and daughter, but Caleb refuses. Back in the Cohen's household, Seth is spreading Chrismukkah cheer. He assigns tasks to each family member and plans the guest list for the celebration.
After the music plays, Julie and Jimmy are in bed ... getting it on! Meanwhile, after Sandy learns that Lindsay is invited to Chrismukkah, he reveals the truth about Caleb and Renee. Ryan attempts to disinvite Lindsay, but she is so excited that he cannot do so. This paves the way for a very awkard holiday, as Marissa and Summer are also at the Cohen's.
It all blows up on Chrismukkah. Renee shows up to tell Kirsten the truth and, when Caleb comes into the kitchen, everyone is present when the news comes out. Julie is mad at Caleb, but not as upset as Kirsten, who throws a vase at her father. When Ryan goes to console Lindsay, she is appreciative, but does not want to date anyone part of that family.
In the consoling mode, Ryan talks through the closet door and helps Kirsten realize that they have to welcome Lindsay to the clan. On that note, Seth goes to talk to Lindsay at the beach and convinces her to go home. Waiting there are Summer, Marissa, Kirsten, Sandy, Ryan and Renee - along with lights, trees, egg nog, potato latkes and Chrismukka spirit for all.
